Review: Sally Hansen Crackle

So while at Ulta the other day I was looking at nail polish. I went there looking for a certain color, and I found it. Then I spotted the Sally Hansen Crackle polishes. I quickly picked one up and put my first color choice back on the shelf. I put myself on a spending limit for this trip so I couldn't purchase both. I was very excited to finally get my hands on a crackle nail polish. I can't tell you how many videos I've seen and how many blogs I've read where people are going crazy over this kind of polish. I just had to try it to see what all the hype was about.  I was so excited when I got home that I just had to try it out. So I put a coat over the polish I already had on. Which was China Glaze For Audrey in case you were wondering. I loved watching it  crackle, and fell in love with it!
Later that night I took off my polish and did them all over. This time I chose Shocking Pink by China Glaze. Hot pink and black is my favorite color combo ever! So again I was very excited. I waited for the pink color to dry, and then began using my crackle nail polish. I loved it....at first.
I feel like you have to work really fast, because it starts to crackle almost instantly. You also don't get much product on the brush...or at least not as much as I wanted. I was fine with my end result and I liked it. Which brings us to today...which was day 2. I kept looking on my nails not really sure what to think about it. The excitement wore off and I'm pretty much over it. I'm disappointed with the application of this polish and how sloppy it ended up looking. I think this crackle look looks great, but I don't think it's for me. I do plan on trying it again with a different color under it, but for now I don't think this look is for me.

My Latest Addiction...

COTTON CANDY!!!
I don't know what it is, but I am completely obsessed with this stuff lately.
I'm pretty sure it started the first time I smelled
the Cotton Candy candle from Bath & body Works.
And sadly...it's sold out everywhere.
Last night I even went to Wal-Marts website, and did a search for cotton candy.
Which is where I found cotton candy yogurt!
It's actually the GoGurt packs that are meant for kids...
but I don't care!
So of course i picked some up today.
They are DELICIOUS!
Next I had a body spray when I was younger that was by Body Fantasies.
Any guesses what the scent was?
COTTON CANDY!
So while at Wal-Mart I looked for it..
and found it!
I didn't buy it though, but I'm sure I will very soon.
So yeah my obsession is getting to the point where if the words cotton candy are on it...
I have to have it!
Here's a few more things cotton candy I need to get my hands on...soon!

 Lip Smackers Cotton Candy.
Because who doesn't want cotton candy
flavored lip balm?

Opi Coney Island Cotton Candy.
I'm not sure if this was a limited edition color
or permanent color, but I do know
it is super pretty & I need it!

Orly Cotton Candy.
I found this polish during my recent trip to Ulta.
It is super pretty & I should have bought it.
The reason I didn't though was
because I thought I could probably get it a little
cheaper at Sally's.
I had no luck with that...they didn't have it!
I love this color though & of course the name!
Again...I need it!

So that's it for my "Cotton Candy Wish List" ...for now.
I hope you enjoyed this post!

My 27th Birthday

Yesterday (June 12th) was my 27th birthday. I can not believe I am now 27...crazy! The day was pretty good. We went over to my mom's to celebrate the day, and it was wonderful. My mom set up trays of meat and cheeses, and made some salads for us to eat. Then we, of course, had cake! I really wish someone would have gotten a picture of my face when I first saw my cake. I was in shock of what they had done for me. If you follow me on Twitter you have probably already seen it...if not then here it is.
How cute is that?! Obviously they know of my love for cupcakes. They gave me a cake shaped like a cupcake using cupcakes. Love it! Best cake ever. Between the meal and cake, though, we did presents. Nothing really to mention here. All I asked for this year was money. I wanted gift cards to Ulta and/or Sephora, but both stores are in another city 45 minutes away from where I live, and when i mentioned those stores everyone looked at me and said the same thing "Whats that?" So it was just easier to ask for money. My brother also gave me a necklace and earring set that was really pretty, and my boyfriend's mom gave me a Bath & Body Works gift card.
Then today (June 13) I went shopping! I had to spend the money I got...i just couldn't wait! So what did I buy with my birthday money? I'll show you tomorrow in a video on my YouTube channel. One thing I will show you that I got today, though, is something I have had my eye for awhile now. I am super excited that I finally was able to buy it.
I love this thing! I only have stuff in 3 of the drawers, but that will change with time.
All in all I had an amazing birthday, and an amazing day of shopping. And I'm not done yet! I can't wait to show you what I bought.
