Look What I Found!

So my boyfriend and I went out earlier, and on the way to where we were going he spotted a cute little display cabinet. I didn't see it so I told him to turn around. We went back and tried to put it in his car...that didn't work. So we came home and went back with my car...again didn't work. Finally the guy who lived there offered to bring it over in his truck. So he followed us back and helped my boyfriend bring it in, and then my boyfriend and I took it to my room. And here is a picture of it...

I love this thing!

I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to put in it yet, 

but for free I just had to have it!

Review: Wet 'N' Wild Nail Polish

So I recently purchased the nail color above. Wet 'n' wild's metallica. I have to say I didn't expect much from this 99 cent nail polish. I tried this brand before and it began to chip later in the day after applying it. This time was different though. I love this stuff! It lasted so much longer than I ever expected it too. I do a lot with my hands and I am always banging them into something which makes polish not last so long on me. Even the more expensive brand that I am obsessed with doesn't hold up this well. For 99 cents you absolutely can not go wrong! And better yet Walgreens has it for 69 cents! This is a great brand of polish and I will be buying more.

I need your help...

So everyone knows about the Katy Perry OPI collection. There are 2 colors in the collection that I am just dying to get my hands on..Teenage Dream and Not Like The Movies. I took a trip to Walgreens today..and I think I found a decent dupe for Teenage Dream..but I'm still on the hunt for a inexpensive dupe of Not Like The Movies..I looked all over the store and nothing was catching my eye. So my question is does anyone know of any good inexpensive dupes for that color? If I have to spend the $8, or however much it is, to get it..I will! If you know of dupes though please let me know! Thanks!

1. blush or bronzer? Blush. I tried bronzer and i just can't get the hang of it, but I love blush and wear it every day.

2. lip gloss or lipstick? Lip gloss. I've always been more into lip gloss. i'm not exactly sure why though.

3. eye liner or mascara? Mascara. I can do without eyeliner if I have to, but I have to at least have my mascara.

4. foundation or concealer? Foundation.

5. neutral or colour eye shadow? Neutral. I'm a bit scared of color.

6. pressed or loose eye shadows? Pressed.

7. brushes or sponges? Brushes. I never used brushes until a couple years ago...and now I don't know how I ever lived without them!

Twitter and My First Video

Also I made my first video today. I've tried uploading it a couple of times but it just isn't going. I think i may need to re-record it tomorrow with my camera in stead of my laptop. So I will do that tomorrow and hopefully it will work then!

How I Store My Makeup Brushes

 So this is my brush holder. 

I just recently switched my brushes over to this, because the one I was using just wasn't going to work anymore. I originally bought this for my brushes but then stopped using it and put it in the living room.

My boyfriend didn't like that. So I decided I need a bigger holder so I might as well use it for I bought it for in the first place!

I got it at Hobby Lobby and I believe it was about $12.

 And of course like everyone else I use the Sephora inspired beads to hold the brushes.

I love using this as my brush holder.

Just puts a smile on my face to sit at my vanity and see how cute it is.

I love it!

This is what I originally had my brushes in. 

I bought this candle holder from wal-mart for $1.

Then I bought some ribbon and a cute little bow 

and had an adorable brush holder!

I couldn't get rid of it completely so I have to find 

another use for it.

Lip products.

I store my most used lip products in it now and it works so much better 

than just throwing them in a drawer.

Love both of these holders so much!

How I Remove My Makeup

So every night before I go to bed I do what every girl should do. Remove my makeup. I use a couple different products but not at the same time. One I use at night, and the other I use in the morning when I wake up. There's always some makeup under my eyes every morning without fail. So the first product I use are make up wipes. I've always used the Ponds wipes and they would always sting my eyes. Not good. So I picked a new product and now I'm hooked! I'm on my second package, and I love them. Don't think I'm ever switching again. Now I use the Neutrogena Makeup Removing Toweletts. These things are amazing! First of all I love the smell they just smell so clean and refreshing, next they take off pretty much all of my makeup..like I said I always wake up with some makeup under my eyes, but that's ok. My skin feels so good after using these. I love the feeling I get when I'm done.

 The next product I use every morning. I should go back to using it at night as well, because this gets everything off. I enjoying the feeling of it against my eye in the morning though.The product? Sonia Kashuk Eye Makeup Remover. This stuff is also amazing. Like I said it gets everything off..nothing is left behind. One thing I really love about it though and there's no stingy feeling on my eyes. This remover is just like using pure water. If you haven't tried it you really should give it a chance. It is available only at Target and it's $10.

So those are the 2 products I use. I think I would probably get better results using both at night, but like I said I like the feeling of the mover against my eye in the morning. helps to wake me up.

My Top 5 Spring Fragrances

 First on the list Orange Sapphire from Bath & Body Works. I bought this last summer and wore it pretty much everyday. It quickly became my "summer scent". I love this scent so much. It can be a bit strong with the orange smell which might bother some, but not me. The smell lingers for a good part of the day, and with the lotion it's even better! Not for all but absolutely is for me. Now I've rumors that this scent is being discontinued this year...I hope that isn't true, but if it is you can be sure I'll be there stocking up while I still can!

 White Citrus...ah just the name puts a smile on my face. This is what i call my "happy scent" I smell this and it instantly puts a BIG smile on my face. It has such a fresh, clean smell, and I love it! I think I have just about every product that this scent comes in, and I use them often.

 Moving on to Victoria's Secret. Pink with a splash of fruity & bright. I also bought this last summer, and omg the second I smelled this I didn't even have to think twice. I knew I had to have it! It has such a sweet and fun scent. I really can not get enough of this stuff. This will probably be my most worn fragrance this spring/summer.

 Dream Angels Heavenly. The name alone says it all. Heavenly. That's exactly what this scent is. I've had my bottle for awhile but it is getting very low and soon will be time for a new one, which will be my 3rd. Very pretty scent and lasts all day. It's good for daytime, but I would save it for a romantic date, or just a simple night out on the town. With this scent you can't go wrong.

Viva La Juicy. My favorite perfume ever! This was the first "higher end" perfume I bought with my own money. I'm so in love with this perfume. Like with everything else in life some love it and others hate it. I honestly don't see what there is to hate about it. If you aren't into sweet scents then this probably isn't for you. Super sweet smell that can be described with only one word..DELICIOUS! (please don't drink it though!)

3rd post of the day! Yes I said 3rd! I didn't plan on 3, but the ideas just kept coming. So lately I've been wanted to redo my "beauty room" set-up. When I set the room up last year it didn't end up looking like anything I originally wanted. So now I'm planning on taking everything off the walls and starting over! I looked everwhere for beauty/makeup related photos to hang. So one day while browsing on Amazon I found something perfect to put above my vanity! A wall decall that says.....

 

I love this!!!! I haven't purchased it yet and this isn't the one I originally saw but I think I might like this one better. I fell in love with it right away. It's what I've been looking for. I'm very excited to get this and hopefully I can find more neat little things to hang as well, and of course once it's done I will be posting pictures!

So I love watching beauty videos on YouTube...I maybe slightly addicted. I would love to start making videos to upload talking about my favorite products, doing haul videos, showing you my vanity set up, and that fun stuff. I just can't seem to bring myself to make videos though. Maybe I'm embarrassed, or think my boyfriend will find them and make fun of me which takes us back to being embarrassed. I don't know but for whatever reason i'm not comfortable with it yet. I've made videos before, but I just can't bring myself to upload them! Maybe one day! So for now this blog is how I want to get things out there!

So sometime in the near future I really want to do a video about how I set up my vanity, and how I store things (even though I don't have much). I want to share with you the new products I found and then review them for you. Basically I want to treat this as my "YouTube Channel"

Review: Caress Velvet Bliss Body Wash

So the other day while I was at Target I remembered I needed to buy body wash. Sometimes I'll just grab what I know I like, and others i'll try something new. This time I went for something new. I love Caress body washes the original is one of my favorites to use, and I also love the one in Evenly Gorgeous (which makes me want to bake!) So I've seen Velvet Bliss but have never actually given it a chance and smelled it. I picked up the bottle to smell it and I was in love! Right away I knew that was the one and threw it in the cart!

I really love this body wash. I love the way this brand lathers up in the shower. The smell you get once you begin to use it is amazing! It last on your skin for a good part of the day as well. I don't know why I've never given this one a chance, but I'm glad I did! Great smell, great lather, and hey it's pink!!!
