April Favorites

We've come to the end of another month. Which means time for favorites!! I don't have as many things to talk about as I thought I would, but I hope you enjoy!

First up is Pure Seduction Fragrance Mist from Victoria's Secret.
This as been the only scent I've worn since the day I bought it earlier in the month.
It smells delicious! Like a fruity drink.
Perfect for Spring & Summer.

 Rimmel BB Cream.
I haven't had the best luck with Rimmel products in the past,
but this stuff is amazing!
I love the coverage and honestly in my opinion...
it's better than my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation.
I said it. This $6 BB cream is way more worth checking out
than the over priced $50 foundation.

Wet 'N' Wild Petal Pusher eyeshadow palette.
I have been using this thing like crazy!
I'm finally starting to branch out to colors other than my typical browns.
I am loving purple eyeshadow more than I ever thought I would.
The pigmentation is amazing and the staying power is also amazing.
Best 5 bucks I've spent all month!

Essie nail polish in Bikini So Teeny.
I am obsessed with this color!
I heard a lot of girls talk about it last year but I never got it.
So this year when I saw it I had to try it.
The first time painting it on my nails..
I was in love.

 L'Oreal Pistachio Dream.
This nail polish is gorgeous!
If you know anything about then you know I love the color mint.
This color is part of a limited edition collection
So I suggest running to the nearest drugstore and picking up a bottle.

 Milani baked blush in Luminoso.
I'm almost completely positive I mentioned this as a favorite last month as well.
So the fact that it's a favorite for the second month...it must be good.
It's basically the only blush I've worn the last couple of months.

Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Ambition.
Another color I am obsessed with..coral.
This stuff if the perfect coral shade for someone like me who is trying to expand
her lip color selection. I love the color and the way this feels on my lips.
Super easy to apply. Making it the perfect lip product to keep in your purse this summer.

There you have it! My favorites for the month os April. I am so excited that Spring has finally decided to show up! It seems like Winter drug on and on. I hope you all are having a wonderful Spring so far, and of course, that you had a great April and an even better May!

Haul! - Target & Ulta

Hello loves! Hope you all are having a fantastic week! It's Wednesday, which means we are almost to another weekend. I don't know about you, but I am pretty darn excited about that. Anyway..today I have a  little haul for you of some things I've picked up the last few days. Hope you enjoy!

First up is what I purchased at Target.
I've been on the hunt for a smaller bag to use for Spring and Summer.
I finally found one! The color may not scream Spring/Summer, but I love this bag so much!
It took me awhile to fit everything I wanted inside of it, but I finally made it work.
The best part about this bag is unlike my last one it won't kill my shoulder while I'm shopping.

I had to pick up another Nivea Kiss of Milk & honey lip balm.
I got one of these for Christmas and it is pretty much completely gone.
I can't remember the last time I finished a product like this.
I swear by this stuff and it has become a total must have for me.

I've also been looking to get a moisturizer. So I decided to pick up the
Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel Cream. I've used the one for normal skin before,
but this time I went for the dry skin one. I'm not going to lie the fact that it's pink kind of sold me.
This is a great product, though, and it really does help out my dry skin.

Next I decided it was time to go ahead and buy a lipstick from the Maybelline Vivids collection.
It seems like every time I go out I pick up Shocking Coral...and then put it back.
This color is beautiful!
While it may be VERY different from my pink and nude lipsticks
I am pretty excited to wear it.

Now on to Ulta!!!

I recently fell in love with the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque.
I picked up another $4 packet of that, and thought I would give something else from the line a try.
So I picked up the  Nourishing Leave In Cream.
I haven't used this yet, but I am very excited too!

Next I picked up a lipstick from NYX.
My rule is if I'm going to Ulta I have to buy at least one NYX product..since I don't like close to Ulta.
So I went with the lipstick in Pure Nude.
The funny thing about this is I saw it on Ulta's website right before heading out the door,
and then while browsing the NYX section in store I spotted a color I loved
and it was Pure Nude..I knew then it was meant to be.

Now the reason I went to Ulta in the first place.
Lorac's GloGetter palette.
They posted a picture of this on their Facebook last week and I just had to have it.
I don't think I have ever gone as crazy for any makeup item as I did for this.
These colors are gorgeous and so perfect for Spring/Summer.
I didn't swatch any of them for this post,
because I want to devote an entire post to it.
It's that good.

So that's all for my haul!
I hope you enjoyed.
Have a great rest of the week!

Haul - TJMaxx, Target, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works

Hey everyone! I did some shopping today and wanted to share what I picked up.
I have 2 beauty items and them some home decor.
Hope you enjoy!

The first stop was TJ Maxx.
Where I came across some NYX eyeshadow palettes!
Being that I live in a town with no Ulta and the nearest one being an hour away
this was a VERY exciting find.
I'm shocked I didn't buy all the palettes they had!
I was excted to find this one, though, I've had my eye on it for awhile
I'm not exactly sure what took my so long to buy ir, but I am so excited to use these colors.

For some reason while I was at the mall I decided to stop in Victoria's Secret.
And am I glad I did!!
I picked up a bottle of Pure Seduction and fell in love.
I will definitely be going back to pick up more products in this scent.

Next stop was Bath & Body Works where I found this cute little bird house oil warmer.
I'm not planning on using this with the scented oils..I just thought it was cute.
Next I picked up one of their candle pedestals.
I've been on a kick of decorating with white accents.
I love this for displaying candles.
So cute!

 Target!
I about died when I found this bird.
A mint colored bird? To go with my white accents?
YES PLEASE!
It's a candle but obviously it's way too cute to ever light.

Then I picked up this decorative bowl.
I've had my eye on this the last couple of weeks, and finally decided to pick it up.
The best part about this is the it was marked to from $30 to $9!
Awesome deal!
Too awesome to pass up.

Lastly some random cat cuteness!!!

Last weekend I was in Target (of course!) and spotted Hello Kitty pet accessories!
I found a Hello Kitty pet bed!!!!

How cute is that?!
Lily loves it.
She uses t all the time and I am so happy about that.

It's also been T approved.
He's a bit too big for it but that's ok.
:)

So there you have it!
A shopping haul and some cat cuteness!
Hope you all are having a wonderful week!

March Favorites

Hey everyone! It feel like forever since I've posted anything on here. My last post was November Faves, though, so I guess it has been a little while. I have just been so crazy busy with work and person life stuff. But I wanted to do this post, because there are so many great things I've been loving lately, and I wanted to share them with you.

First off is Bath & Body Works newest scent Beautiful Day.
I absolutely LOVE this scent. I just can't get enough of it.
As you may remember I am horrible at describing scents.
So I will just say that I highly recommend that you stop
into B&BW and give this a sniff.

Next up..Fresh Picked Strawberry.
One word can describe this scent..YUM!
I know a lot of people are raving about the Market Peach candle,
but for me strawberry is where it's at.
I love both the lotion and candle.
This is a nice real strawberry scent..not something trying to be strawberry.
These products legit smell like if you cup open a strawberry and smell it.
It is SO GOOD!

NAIL POLISH!!
2 L'oreal polishes to mention.
The glitter is Sparklicious and the other is Pistachio Dream.
These polishes are pretty on their own, but when you put that glitter over
the minty Pistachio Dream..it's gorgeous!

In the middle is Revlon Colorstay Gel Shine Top Coat.
Also known as my new best friend. This top coat is seriously amazing.
This top coat kept my polish looking gorgeous for a week!
Love. Love. Love.

Now onto the makeup...

First up is the Rimmel BB Cream.
This is my first BB Cream, and I have to say I honestly don't see the point in trying any others.
This stuff is truely amazing. It's a thick consistency, and covers beautifully.
I have to say this stuff covers better than some foundations I've tried.
I love the flawless finish this gives my skin.

Milani Baked Blush.
If you haven't ever tried these blushes then I suggest you run out and pick one up ASAP!
These are AMAZING!
On the left we have Rose D'Oro (supposedly a dupe for MAC Stereo Rose msf)
and on the right Luminoso .
These blushes give off a beautiful glowy look to the skin.

EYES!

First off is Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded.
Next is CG Clump Crusher Mascara. One of the best mascaras I have ever tried.
L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow. The lighter shade is Iced Latte, and the other is Amber Rush.
Iced Latte is just a typical champagne color and Amber Rush is the
perfect rose gold eyeshadow. Amazing shadows and a definite must try.

 LIPS!

Oh coral how I love you.
On the left Revlon Coralberry
and on the right Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Ambition.
I've been thinking about doing a post all about my crazy coral obsession. ha/
I really should have posted a pictures with swatches so you could see how different these truely are.
Coral Ambition is by far the most wearable, and Coralberry is more on the orange side.
But I equally love them both.

And those are my favorites for the month of March!
Hope you enjoyed.

November Favorites!

While I might be a few days early it is time for monthly favorites. I haven't had very many favorites to talk about the past few months. Which would explain why I haven't posted about anything. This month I decided that I really wanted to do one of these posts again. I found a few products that I have been obsessing over this month. Some I have mentioned before and some are newer products.

First up is the ELF Kabuki brush. I have wanted this brush for awhile now,
and finally decided to pick up during one of my trips to Target.
I was very impressed with how soft this brush is. I absolutely love it!
For the price of $6 you just can't beat it! I love using this brush on my face to apply powder/

Maybelline Colossal Volume Cat Eyes Mascara.
The first time I used this mascara I hated it.
I decided to give a second chance, though, and after some time I fell in love!
I love what this does to my lashes. I love the volume it gives and how
well is separates them. I am so glad I gave this mascara another chance.

Maybelline Eye Shadow Quad in Dainty Peach.
I'm pretty sure this was a limited edition quad for Spring or Summer.
I picked mine up a couple months back on clearance at Walgreens.
I love using the peachy shade all over my lid and the brown in the middle in the crease,
and the lightest shade as a highlight. I haven't played with the deeper brown shade yet.
I love the look I get from using these shadows.
The pigmentation isn't the best but that's where the next product comes in.

NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil in Milk.
I have wanted this for so long, and for some reason never bought it.
I would always look at it when I was in Ulta, but never really felt the need for it.
Now I am glad I bought it. I love how it can make a more dull eyeshadow really stand out.
I use this mostly as a base, but also love to put in the inner corner of my eyes.

 Cover Girl Liquiline Blast.
Can you say AMAZING!?
This eyeliner is super creamy and smooth. i just love the way it glides on.
It stays with me through a good part of the day.

 EOS Vanilla lip balm.
I don't remember the exact name for this, but I can tell you it was part of the
Alice In Wonderland trio.
I have been waiting for EOS to release a vanilla lip balm.
So when I saw they were going to have one I had to get it!
i love the other flavors that came in this set as well,
but this is definitely the standout for me.

Tarte Bronzer in Park Ave. Princess.
OH. MY. GOD.
I have never been much of a bronzer user, but this came in a set I got from Ulta
that came with one of the Amazonian Clay blushes.. so I thought I would try it out.
I love how light this bronzer is, and how well it works with my incredibly pale skin.
I can honestly say that when this runs out I will absolutely buy the full size.

 ELF Blush in Mellow Mauve.
Again some I've looked at for awhile.
I was going to buy this over the Spring, but I thought it seems like a better Fall/Winter color. So I waited.
I love the color of the blush so much! Gorgeous.
I really can't get over how great ELF blushes are, and for only $3!!

Revlon Lip Butter in Red Velvet.
Completely out of my comfort zone, and completely opposite of my everyday nude lip.
I love this color so much. i love how you can wear it sheer or you can wear it to be more bold.
I just can't get over how beautiful this color is.
If only it tasted like red velvet!

Forever Red from Bath & Body Works.
This is their newest scent that they spent a few months hyping up.
I can tell you it was well worth all the hype.
This is a much more mature scent than most of their other scents.
I'm horrible at describing scents, sorry.

Cashmere Glow body lotion.
I have been using this lotion every night and I just love the soft scent it has.
I've used it so much my pillow and sheets have taken on the scent as well.. it's pretty amazing.

So those are my favorites for the month of November.
I hope you enjoyed this and I hope you had a great month.

Putting Up The Christmas Tree & Small Black Friday Haul

Hey everyone! First I want to say that I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! Mine was great! I survived my first year being the cook of everything.

I thought I would share our Christmas tree with you and follow it up with a small haul of things I purchased last night. So here we go!!

First of all before starting any decorating I had to make myself a cup
of hot chocolate with my new Keurig. If you don't follow me on
Twitter or Instagram then you don't know.
I have wanted a Keurig FOREVER! The price has been what's kept
me away for so long, but earlier this week
I finally decided to just do it, and I am so glad I did.

 Out Christmas tree!
Yes, our tree topper is an old Coke bottle.
Every year Coke comes out with special bottles that are small and round.
We thought it would be funny to make it out tree topper a few year ago,
and ever since then it's just stuck with us.

I have to share the photo I posted to Instagram, because I forgot to take a
single picture of the ornament in the middle.
The leg lamp from A Christmas Story.
We couldn't resist... we had to have it.
I mean who wouldn't want a leg lamp ornament?

 T approved!
Every year we put the tree up he just loves to lay underneath it.
He looked so cute under there I had to share a picture.

Now onto Black Friday!
We started out by going to Wal-Mart because they were having a sale where select DVD's where only $2.
We pushed our way through the store and finally found what we wanted.

Next we went to Target.
This is where things started to suck..haha.
The line wrapped around to the middle on the back side of the store.
They weren't opening until 9 so we stood out in front waiting.. we were NOT going to
search for the end of the line.
Finally we saw the end and ran to get in line.
After we got in the store we once again had to push our way through,
and once again were looking for DVD's. Target's deal on select DVD's...$1.
Unfortunately Adam only found 2 that he wanted. I picked up 2 CD's
but didn't think they would be interesting enough to take a picture of.
If you're wondering what I picked up, though, I bought Carrie Underwood's new CD Blown Away,
and also Luke Bryan's Tailgates & Tanlines. What can I say I'm a country girl.
And on we went to get into line to check out..WHAT A NIGHTMARE!
The check out line started toward the back of the store, and after awhile we ended up having to zig zag through different aisles.. I honestly don't know how long we were actually in line
but I know it was too long. Finally we paid and got the heck out of there!

We then came home and waited for Bath & Body Works to open up at midnight.
While they weren't having any different sales than usual the idea of being in there at midnight seemed kinda of fun to me. We got there and saw only a few people waiting to get in.
The longest line at our mall was Victoria's Secret. Thankfully I wasn't going there.
So into Bath & Body Works we went and here is what I bought.

They were doing their 2 for $20 candle deal so obviously I had to get some.
I picked up Spiced Apple Toddy for me and Sandlewood Vanilla for my mom.
I also picked up a foaming hand soap in Winter Cranberry, but again didn't think it would
be interesting enough to take a picture of.

We planned on leaving after I was done in there, but then I saw a sign outside of Maurices where
certain items were up to 75% off... I had to check that out.
The 75% off racks were pretty crappy..haha.
I did see, though, that everything else in the store was 30% off,
and then I found this....
I am so in love with this sweater!
I am hoping to do an OOTD when I wear it.
So hopefully I can get that done for you.

And that completes this insanely long post.
I don't think I have ever posted a blog this long before..
First time for everything!

Anyway.. I hope you all had a great holiday yesterday and if you went out and braved Black Friday
I hope you found some amazing deals!
